Behavioural typology

An analysis of behavioural preferences

Our world, and technology in particular, are developing at a terrific speed. A willingness to change and flexibility are the most important premises at work and in one's private life. Speed, efficiency and pragmatism and a focus on results are required. But one thing remains constant: the human factor controls all processes. Behaviour towards customers, colleagues and other people is the lever for successful relationship management and ultimately also for meeting high demands.

Why do we so often fall at the "hurdle" of relationship management? A possible explanation is provided by the analysis of Insights Discovery: a modern, computer-aided system that can measure type-specific behaviour based upon the psycho-scientific work of C. G. Jung. By means of a questionnaire, which takes approximately 15 minutes to complete, a 20-page plus report is generated, which describes a person's behavioural preferences. The report does not evaluate the different behavioural types but helpfully raises awareness of the behavioural styles of people and teams.

The intensive Insights Discovery research and the regular adaptation of the typology lead to a more than 90% accuracy of the statements, which is confirmed by the participants. The high-performance analysis is, in our opinion, one of the best currently on the market. The following factors are taken into account:

  • General behavioural styles
  • Interaction with others
  • Decision making
  • Strengths and weaknesses
  • Team orientation
  • Communication
  • Motivatability
  • Management style
  • Effectiveness in sales

In individual coaching sessions or as team seminars as well as in further workshops, the participants gain a deeper understanding of the behaviour of superiors, colleagues, team members, employees and customers and of the individuality of each person. Armed with this knowledge, the participants can act more effectively and more successfully in their working life. The Insights Discovery typology is also particularly suitable for developing potential, optimising cooperation and allocating projects and tasks. It promotes better understanding in all interaction processes and supports individual coaching measures.
